How to Receive Communion

Saturdays 11a.m. & Holy Days

Who may receive:

Catholics in good standing with the Church, including Latin-rite Catholics, may receive if properly disposed. If you are unsure, come forward with arms crossed for a blessing, or ask Father after Liturgy.

How to receive:

Approach, say your name, tilt your head back slightly, and open your mouth. Father will place the Eucharist in your mouth with a single-use wooden communion spoon. Do not say “Amen.” Do not take the spoon with your hand.

If you are not receiving:

You are welcome to remain in place. There is no need to leave the church.
